Tying her UP

While walking Brenda the other night after an especially trying evening with her getting very agitated with both Porter and Ben, I actually tied her to a pole and walked away. I wasn't going to leave her there, of course, and I'm not even sure why I did it, but it was such a horrible feeling. I only got two feet away before I turned around and looked at her. She looked so scared. Her ears were pinned back to the sides of her head and her eyes were huge. She didn't make a sound. I rushed back and untied her.

How can people be so cruel?
