Wake-up Personalities

I was recently working at my desk like normal, while all three dogs dozed on my bed behind me.

I turned around to look at them like I often do, and after a few moments they all started to stir.

Porter woke up first and saw me looking at him and so he rolled over on his back and started to squirm around with all four legs in the air and his mouth wide open, tongue flopping around and making little squealing noises. His squirming was so vigorous it wasn't long before he was completely covered underneath all the pillows.

Sadie woke up in the commotion and raised her head like a queen before calmly starting to groom her face by licking her paws and then rubbing her eyes with them.

Brenda's eyes popped open and she popped up onto all fours and just stood there staring into space occasionally shifting her focus to sniff Sadie. If I removed my gaze from her, though, she started to bark, letting me know that she had her eyes on me at all times.
