While Porter was vocalizing his distaste for Brenda a lot last month he's recently calmed down considerably. The friction between them came to a head a few weeks ago, though.
Belisa was walking into my apartment with Brenda--fresh from a long walk. At the moment Brenda entered the living room I walked out of the kitchen and into the room. Porter, agitated that Brenda had returned home, jumped off the couch and rushed up to her and barked right in her face.
Brenda snarled and went after him and for once in his life Porter didn't back down. In an instant they were in a full fledge fight.
Luckily, I had a huge glass of water in my hand and threw it on them. The fight was broken instantly, my living room floor was soaked (as was Porter and Brenda) and I was still thirsty.
