The Peanut Gallery

One of the most interesting, albeit challenging, aspects of caring for an aggressive dog is the amount of unsolicited advice from strangers—both on the street and those who stumble upon a mention of your story on someone’s e-newsletter. As a dog trainer in NYC who works with clients outside, I’m used to people wanting to put their two cents into various situations. Usually, the advice is passed along via The Dog Whisperer—if they only knew how many cases we see in which we have to undo the damage a well-meaning owner inflicted on a dog because of an episode of that show.
Please, no more suggestions for Rescue Remedy or massage. Brenda is beyond that!
